The Real Truth About What Farmville Animals May Benefit You

The choice of whether to have some Farmville animals on your farm can be a difficult one. Many will tell you they are an utter waste of time, while some have experienced the various benefits in collecting them. What ever choice you decide, you are doing yourself a disservice if you are not aware of some of these facts.

One benefit to having animals is that unlike the plant crops, they can not wither away. Animals will just wait around until you are ready to collect their offerings. This means you are not bound by time restraints and you don’t have to worry about losing money from not getting back to the game on time.

There are two ways to get your animals. Livestock can be purchased at any time from the market place. The other option is the lost animals, which will wander onto your farm from time to time.

The variety of livestock available for the taking year round is somewhat limited. Typically you can find the basics there such as pigs, cows and even sheep. You can how ever come across some interesting species during holidays and special events.

For instance, at one time there was an alien invasion in Farmville which resulted in the appearance of some uncommon green cows. You could purchase these for just 2400 coins, and in return get a pretty penny for the milktonium they produced.

Thanksgiving in the USA gives rise to baby turkeys that have the ability to grow into adults. Upon maturation, the turkeys could be harvested for their feathers every couple of days.

In general, many of the animals will take much more time to produce a harvest than the plants. This is one reason why many Farmville farmers may stick to vegetation.

A way to get free animals is to be aware of the ones that wander into your friends yards. These lost animals are a rare occurrence, and may appear on your farm asking for help. Unfortunately you can not just adopt those animals. You will need to find one wandering on your friends’ farm as those are the ones you can adopt. You can find out about them when monitoring the status updates of your neighbors.

Getting a lost animal can be like finding a hidden treasure. There are all kinds to look out for.  Turtles that give eggs, brown sheep that produce chocolate wool, a black cat that gives you yarn, and even some brown or pink cows that produce chocolate or strawberry milk respectively.

Again, you will need to keep an eye on the status of your friends to spot the updates and know where to find them. Knowing the possible rewards will help you determine if collecting some animals might be an asset to your Farmville farm.
