Complete Guide To Farmville Ribbons: Know Which Ones To Get And Which Are The Best
There are a lot of different ways for people to track the different stages of where they are on their Farmville journey. Progress can be followed in many different ways. You can advance in the game by earning more coins, designing a stylish farm, and earning more ribbons.
There are pages of ribbons you can earn from the “Crop Whisperer” ribbon you get for helping to fertilize your neighbors crops to the “High Roller” that you get just for earning coins on the produce you sell.
Individual groups of ribbons have their own rewards. You can earn experience points with them (also referred to as XP) and you can even earn more coins. While you can show off your ribbons to your friends on your Facebook wall, they are a great way to continuously get more coins and XP so you can continue to level up.
Presently there are over 25 categories of ribbons you can accumulate. Each category has 4 different colors – which are awarded during different stages of your progression. From yellow, to the white, red, and the blue, you will start getting the yellows which are the easiest and the hardest will be the blue.
As an example, in the “Cream of the Crop” category you only need to harvest 30 crops to get a yellow ribbon, but to get the blue you need to kick that number up to 50,000. That can take quite a bit of work and time.
The ribbons can be used as stepping stones or goals to what you should be aiming to accomplish. As you get to be a better player you can use them strategically to your benefit. If you win ribbons early in the game you’ll have significantly more XP and coins in your pocket and you can level up much faster.
While getting as many ribbons as you can early on is a good strategy, there are two that are the most important in the group. The “Good Samaritan” and the “Local Celebrity” ribbons will earn you a lot of coins and XP. You can get these by simply getting a lot of neighbors and then helping them out regularly. Helping them can be things like clearing some leaves or scaring away the foxes and crows.
Get 8-9 neighbors and do some good deeds and you can be rewarded with 3,500 coins as well as 55 experience points. This is a nice chunk of change that can be used to buy more seed and make even more coin. Or you can even invest in some other things that will help you win even more ribbons.
There are several ways you can use ribbons to your benefit. Much of it is easy stuff like having a specific number of crops, adding more neighbors, and even getting some collections of buildings. As you collect your ribbons, reinvest your bonus coins into things that can get you the next color ribbon up the ladder. Rinse and repeat, and within no time you will be at the top of your Farmville game.
