If you’re having trouble getting a hang of Farmville, you’re not alone. I know lots of people who got into the game expecting it to be easy as pie, only to get really frustrated. I found lots of Farmville guides, and I actually tried quite a few of them, but most were very disappointing. Not many of them had much helpful information to give, and quite frankly, some were just rehashed rubbish. They were either designed for people who’d gotten all the way to the upper levels already, or they were severely outdated because of changes made to the game since they were released.

Farmville is a relatively new game and is still in the Beta stage – hard to believe when over 80 million people are playing it! So a lot of changes have been made to it in a short time, and improvements are still being made. Most of the guides on the market have not been updated to account for these changes.

The one guide that I feel that I really got my money’s worth with was Farmville Secrets. This guide - written by Farmville guru Tony Saunders –  is regularly updated (in fact you get free updates for life), so you are always up to speed with new changes to Farmville.

It is presented in a really professional way, with great pictures and illustrations. It is full of useful and detailed information for both beginners (showing you how to start with your very first crop) and for more advanced players (for example, showing you how to get particular ribbons). Because it is really well indexed, it is easy to find exactly what you are looking for (and avoid the stuff you already know).

What Farmville Secrets will not give is is illegal cheats to allow you to shoot right up to the top levels without actually playing the game. If this is what you are after, then it’s not for you. But if you want to learn the best tricks to allow you to level up fast, and really enjoy the game, then  this is the guide for you.
